YOUNG AVIATORS PROGRAM

CADET 3rd CLASS

INTRODUCTION TO AVIATION: 

Purpose: The purpose of this program is to provide interested students with an insight into job opportunities that exist in the aviation industry, including tower control, field and facility maintenance, airplane maintenance, commercial pilot, and airport support services. These students will have a basic understanding of airport operations, standard light plane maintenance practices and procedures, and hands-on flying experience. While the emphasis is on aviation opportunities, the experience and skills learned during this program will give the student skills and knowledge that may help direct his or her future.
